Artspeak Radio with Elizabeth Kirsch and Kim Lindaberry

Artspeak Radio, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, noon – 1pm CST, 90.1fm KKFI Kansas City Community Radio, streaming live audio www.kkfi.org

Producer/host Maria Vasquez Boyd welcomes interdisciplinary artist Kim Lindaberry and writer/art historian/curator Elizabeth Kirsch.

KIM LINDABERRY-Like people before me, I wonder about the universe, creation, annihilation, life, death, existence, and non-existence. My work explores the dynamics of the cosmos, and the science, myths, and religions that humans build to comprehend those dynamics.
Recognizably humanoid my beings are imbued with hidden meaning and paradoxes. They are unbound by normal human existence and through them I speak to issues of the here and now; the past and the future; of terrestrial and transcendent existence.
Binary or non-binary they speak not only to the nature of seeking to belong with another but the search for individual identity.
