The National Toy & Doll Museum; Do you like to tell stories? The Mexican folk dolls (1940s-1960s), currently on display at the Museum, represent different regions of the country and tell stories through their clothing and accessories.
Join collector Maria Vasquez Boyd, visual artist Sue Moreno, and writer Miguel M. Morales to design and make your own figure/creature and develop a unique story around this character through words and images.

Mujer: Inspiration, Testimony & Legacy
Mujer examines the role of women through culture, tradition & their individual experiences. Inviting all women artists to contribute works of art that connect to the voice and experience of women.  The exhibition brings together a variety of materials, processes, and stories with different backgrounds. It pairs historical and personal narratives that offer multifaceted perspectives. Inspired by the daily life of women and the importance of cultural and personal roots this exhibit celebrates and champions all who identify as Women and their significance in the world we live in.
