Every Woman

On this week’s Every Woman, we will be talking to Dr. Christina Skelton, a/k/a “Dr. Word Person!” Dr. Skelton is a historical linguist from Austin, TX, and uses fun science to solve problems in language and linguistics. She did her undergrad degree in Classics, with minors in Geology and Biology, from UT-Austin, and received her Ph.D. in Indo-European Studies from UCLA. From there, she did a postdoc as a Junior Fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows, and now she runs a YouTube channel about linguistics and ancient languages called Dr. Word Person.
We will be talking to Dr. Skelton about her passion and what inspired her to not only learn ancient languages, but to teach others about them.
