Join us this Saturday, when Shelia Johnson will be welcoming special guest La Tanya Lipprand, founder of Marlene’s Kaleidoscope.  This is a re-airing of this show, but it covers an important topic, that is not discussed enough – autoimmune diseases, which disproportionately impact women, and the impact on people.

After facing challenges being diagnosed with lupus herself, La Tanya struggled with an ongoing lack of medical awareness and options.  In response to this, she founded Marlene’s Kaleidoscope, a 501c3 nonprofit organisation driven to provide education and raise awareness of Lupus to physicians and the public to identify the disease earlier and to provide support to people with lupus.
