Face the New Year with Naked Abandon and the Tasty Brew

Music pundits say it every year…..”This was the Best Year for New Music ever!!!”  The world of Americana Music would be no exception as the Best of 2012 Lists  bombard us from industry outlets like the Americana Music Association, No Depression, Radio Free Americana, Paste Magazine and the like.  I tried…I spent hours going over and over my playlists (over 150 hours of airplay) , music purchases (Amazon one-click will be my downfall)  and ticket stubs (averaging 2-3 live performances a week between Kansas City and Nashville).  I just cannot commit to a “Best of 2012” list for one show; I’ve been trying to sprinkle my favorite 2012 releases over the last month and barely scratched the surface.  So here’s to 2013…let’s face it together with naked abandon and enjoy this New Year’s Morning Show with many listener favorites from 2012 with a tasty brew that includes John Fullbright, Jamey Johnson, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Eva Cassidy, Marty Stuart, Bearfoot, Billy Joe Shaver and many others!  Enjoy the embedded links and Happy New Year!!!!
