“The Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of roots music formed by the shared and varied traditions that make up the American musical melting pot.
Mike Paget, Host of the Green Guitar Folk House Series joins Host Diana Linn on this Fall Pledge Drive Edition of the Tasty Brew Music Show. The Green Guitar is a music series that for the last five years has been bringing nationally touring singer-songwriters to the Kansas City area. The music styles include folk, Americana, country, roots, bluegrass, and international roots music. Opening acts are up and coming local and regional performers.
This week’s show of course will be asking for continued and sustained support of all of these genres of music on KKFI and will feature music from the likes of Justin Townes Earle and Beth Bombara coming to Kansas City this week, as well as new releases that have hit Diana’s inbox recently. Some tasty favorites from Joe Ely, Willie Nelson and Nanci Griffiths too!
