RICK STASI is an artist/writer/intellectual properties producer with credits at DC, Marvel, Charlton, NOW Comics (Twilight Zone), Eclipse, Disney, Warner Bros. (Looney Tunes & Tiny Toons for Steven Spielberg), Dell Comics (InDELLIprose) and LucasFilms/STAR WARS sketch cards.
Rick also designs wearables and home products for TeePublic. His work features vintage film and comic superheroes graphic designs.
Rick has taught comics, sequential art and storyboarding courses for more that twenty years, as an instructor with the Shawnee Mission School District, The Westport School of Art and The Kansas City Art Institute. He currently gives individual instruction, career counseling and is guest instructor at various KC metro schools.   Rick acts in local films and is regional talent representative for Kathy Garver, (actress “Cissy”, Family Affair – CBS classic 60’s – ‘70’s sit-com) and voice talent (Firestar) for the animated series, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.
Rick is also voice talent for Wounded Warriors, Optiv, Volvo, and Mack Trucks. Rick Stasi’s first non-comics related publishing venture, a book of original poetry and musings titled Funny You Should Ask! is in its second printing.
He has also produced a 2-CD audio collection of original poetry, musings and music –Talking To Myself (To You!) and performs An Evening With Rick Stasi, one-man shows on 90.1fm KKFI Kansas City Community Radio and at live venues for Harvesters. Rick has recently launched his own YouTube channel, Ninth Street Theatre Presents, “Playhouse of the Mind” featuring his spoken word performances, original music and featuring his graphic design work.

A new multi-media animated anthology titled Ninth Street Theatre Presents– is in the works.

BRUCE YOUNG, Aztec Theater- The Aztec Theater is located at 11119 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas. It’s a historic theater originally opened at The Mission Theater as a silent movie house. It was renamed as The Aztec in 1949. Co-owner Bruce Young remembers attending movies as a youngster in the 50’s. It closed in 1975 and reopened as a live music venue.

An immersive art experience where Fine Art meets fashion to support the Kansas City Artists Coalition.
Eight local multidisciplinary artists will transform gowns donated by the Gown Gallery into walking canvases of fine art. Each Artist Dress is accompanied by a complimentary collection of gowns curated by Wlaa Style!
