Local Showcase
The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Dawayne Gilley leads the list of folks set to perform and discuss the KCK Street Blues Festival, which is set to take place Saturday, June 29. In the studio with us will be several of the musicians (guest list below), some who will perform LIVE on your radio this Thursday. As usual, I’ll be joined by Betty Berry and Dennis Nelson, who are members of the Bluesiacs and Kansas City Blues Society.
