Rex Pryor and Exit 13 Duo “Flatlands” on the Tasty Brew

A brand new year means we say goodbye to “best of” lists for 2021. Diana Linn is back to tasty mixes of new releases and legacy music spanning the decades of Americana and Roots Music.

This week Diana Linn welcomes Rex Pryor of Exit 13 to play live in the studio and highlight songs from “Flatlands”, the Exit 13 Duo’s new release.  Rex is from small town Missouri, spent a good deal of his working life in the management of Kansas Correctional Facilities, including serving as the Warden of the Kansas State Men’s Prison in Lansing.  He is also a poet, playwright and songwriter…he has the receipts for the stories behind the songs.  Tune in 10 am Friday, January 7 for a unique perspective in songcrafting.
