That is 468 Shows and 11,500 songs give or take and getting up at oh dark thirty to bring you the best in Americana/Bluegrass/Country and Roots Music. It is a great way to start your workday Tuesdays on the right note! This week’s show has the spotlight on some of the artists playing KKFI’s Crossroads Music Festival on Saturday, September 7 and some that are hitting Kansas City this week from the road….Shinyribs, Western Centuries, and Hot Tuna (Jorma Kaukonen).
For fun there will be a spotlight on Linda Ronstadt (a much anticipated documentary on her is soon to be released) and new music from Beth Bombara, The Highwomen and Tanya Tucker.
