Hariprasad Chaurasia, the great bamboo flute master from India, once said that if he were asked by a blind person what light is, he would respond by playing the early morning Raga, Lalit.. And so today, as we exit the winter solstice and the shortest day of the year back into the light and hope of the coming year, we feature Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia in a performance of Rag Lalit.
