Music from around the world is featured, bringing the audience into the realm of other cultures through music, hopefully expanding empathy for the other, and recognizing that other in ourselves.

There were a number of new releases from West Africa in 2023 that we’re only getting together now, in fact one only was released in mid-November. We feature five different musicians/groups: Bombino, Mdou Moctar, Tinariwen, Terakaft and Bounaly.
