The Tasty Brew • June 4, 2019 Spring Fun Drive Show

The “Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of American roots based music genres regardless of the nationality of the performer. Americana music is difficult to define.  Tuesday’s  June 4 2019 Pledge Drive Show is dedicated to my dear friend Tom Green….I will be spinning some of his favorite artists…Jimmy LaFave, John Fullbright, James McMurtry (at Knuckleheads this week!) and Eva Cassidy. He has been so supportive of me and my radio show ever since we met totally by chance at the old Rutledge Room venue in Nashville, Tennessee during an Americanafest. I was there to see Kim Richey…he was there to see Amy Speace Wood whom has since become one of my favorite artists as well. Amy will be coming back to the Green Guitar Folk House Series in October by the way. I will be debuting new music from the amazing Chuck Hawthorne and never before heard music on the radio by Slim Hanson and the Poor Choices (on the lineup for the Michael Shannon Musicians Fund Benefit at BB’s Lawnside BBQ on June 9). The station and I would appreciate you showing your financial support this Tuesday June 4 between 6 and 8 am for The Tasty Brew Music Radio Show. I’d like to keep doing the show but as we are never promised tomorrow…Let’s make some ding dang hay while we can!
