At 10:15 we talk with Kansas City based singer songwriter Jaclyn Bell. In March of 2019, Jaclyn released her first full-length album, “Wanna Be Mine” recorded here in Kansas City. Jaclyn Bell released her EP “Memories” in 2018, that featured her songwriting capabilities combined with the Nashville talent where it was recorded. In March of 2019, Jaclyn Bell and her band are playing Made in KC for First Fridays on Friday, July 5th; the Bull Creek Distillery on Saturday, July 6,; and Sunset Grill on August 3.

At 10:35 members of the Kansas City based Rock & Roll trio Heavy Grams join us in our 90.1 FM Studios. Heavy Grams were formed in 2018. Members include: Jeff Wall on guitar & vocals, Calandra Ysquierdo on bass & vocals, and Dustin Mott on drums. Heavy Grams just recently released their self titled, debut EP, that was recorded at Weights and Measures Sound Lab with Duane Trower.

At 11:00 Mark talks with VP3, Kartez & Mae C of NuBlvckCity and Nathan Reusch of The Record Machine about What’s Next KC, on Saturday, July 13, at 6:00 PM at Legacy Park Amphitheater, 901 NE Bluestem Dr, Lees Summit, MO. This is a free, all ages, family friendly event featuring live performances by: NublvckCity, The Moose, and Blue False Indigo. There will be concessions available and a BBQ Food Truck. What’s Next KC is sponsored by Mid-Continent Public Library and The Record Machine.

At 11:30 Alisa Jefferson, Barb Wilmoth, Scott Mitchell of the Kansas City based band Radial Red join us to share new music. Radial Red plays Saturday Storytellers with Jocelyn Olivia Nixin of The Creepy Jingles, Saturday, July 6, at 5:00 PM at Ollie’s Local, at 3044 Gillham Rd, Kansas City, MO.
