Since 2014 WMM has celebrated Calvin Arsenia who came home to KC after living in Edinburgh, Scotland. His EPs: Moments, Prose, Catastrophe, Caviar, and full length, Catastrophe led to his signing with Center Cut Records where he released the album Cantaloupe in 2018, and L.A. Sessions in 2019. Calvin released an EP of remixes, Honey Dew, an EP with Quixotic, and the holiday album, All Is Calm, also in 2019. Voted KC’s Best Musician in 2018 and 2019 in The Pitch, and featured on Billboard, NPR.org, NEWNOWNEXT, Pride.com, and GRAMMY.com, Arsenia’s classically trained voice, visually striking 6-foot-6 presence, and deft harp playing have built his reputation as a live performer. Arsenia believes the art comes from crafting the perfect moment, organically unfolding with beauty, surprise, and something for all of the senses. More info at www.calvinarsenia.com
