We also welcome Betse Ellis, critically acclaimed fiddler, singer, songwriter, and one half of Betse & Clarke who joins us as special guest co-host. At 11:00 AM, we welcome Sid Sowder founder of Too Much Rock, a music blog site he created in 1997 to share his photos, videos & comments of live music shows he attends. Sid is also the creator of The Too Much Rock Singles Series, a collection of 45 rpm singles that marry great songs with great bands all for the love of vinyl. Each old-school two-song single features one unique song paired with one cover chosen by Too Much Rock who press 500 limited edition copies and then simply give them to the band. Troostival features a line-up of musical acts who will play live on an outdoors rooftop stage and also to be broadcast live using multiple high resolution cameras and state of the art recording techniques for audiences to stream virtually. NuBlvckCity, Crystal Rose, The Royal Chief, We The People, The Black Creatures, Amber “Flutienastiness” Underwood, Kadesh Flow, and Kemet Coleman are all scheduled to appear in this socially distant concert and, virtual experience celebrating the diversity of Black music in KC.
