Foolkiller Folk
The Foolkiller Folk collective explores the storytelling, cultural, and protest power of folk music from as far back as the Child Ballads through as current as released today.

During pledge drives, we always highlight the diversity of programming here on KKFI both in the diversity of genres and within the genres ourselves and today’s Foolkiller Folk illustrates that perfectly.
About a third of the show is English Traditional folk to which we’ve added a bit of Nina Simone and Patsy Cline, some early blues, the new release of Stan Rogers songs, and an Irish tune set before we end with a bit of klezmer.
