Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre
Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre presents new performances of classic radio plays of intrigue, mystery, suspense, and comedy from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s in rotation with a 10-part original historical drama written by local playwright, actor, and director Forrest Attaway. Featuring local actors and musicians and hosted by actors John Rensenhouse, Cinnamon Schultz, and Walter Coppage.
Airing Friday at noon on KKFI 90.1 FM, Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre returns with another episode of “Easy Aces – Jane Gets a Loan for Her Brother.”
Originally airing circa 1940, “Easy Aces” is a comedic look at real-life couple Jane and Goodman Ace, and the family and friends they deal with every day. In this week’s episode, Jane’s good-for-nothing brother Paul needs money for his ten year wedding anniversary. After Goodman denies Paul the money, Jane and Paul go to the Confidential Loan Company and Jane takes charge of getting her brother a loan, by any means necessary.
