Jaws of Justice Radio
It is the intention of Jaws of Justice Radio to investigate how to achieve justice in America, this includes issues of economic injustice, political injustice and the criminal justice system. We want to put a human face on those caught in the grasp of injustice and those that are part of an unjust system. We strive to dispel the misconceptions created by the news and entertainment industry, politicians and our educational system.
For our show on January 25th, host David Bell speaks with Criminal Defense Attorney and Civil Rights Litigator, Arthur Benson. Arthur Benson has a long and successful career advancing racial justice in our courts. He was active in lawsuits including KCMO school desegregation, shopping while black, and the defense of Joseph Amrine. Please listen to learn what our history can teach us about our future.

- MON Jan. 25th 6 PM there is an online event: Take Action: Gerrymandering, Voting Rights, Workers Rights, and Ballot Initiatives: hosted by the Heartland Alliance for Progress Richard von Glahn, Policy Director with Missouri Jobs With Justice, will provide updates on what we can do with regard to the interrelated topics of fair maps (addressing the provisions of Clean Missouri that Amendment 3 undid), expanding voting rights and worker rights, and what’s in store regarding ballot initiatives.
