Margot Patterson and George Smith talk about B.D.S; Craig Lubow and Roslyn Temple talk

BDS is an acronym for The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement which is a Palestinian-led campaign promoting various forms of boycott against Israel. On Jaws of Justice Radio Hour, host Margot Patterson will talk with George Smith, a recently retired MU professor and 2018 Nobel Prize laureate about the new anti-BDS legislation that passed the Missouri house in May.  Missouri’s legislature aims to quell support for the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions movement against Israel’s Occupation.  George has been active in the campaign to oppose such legislation. George wants very much to discuss the parallel between the killing of George Floyd and the killings of Palestinians in the Occupied Territories.

During the second half of the hour, host Craig Lubow will talk with Roslyn Temple of Kansas City Mothers in Charge, a caring community organization committed to working to prevent others from experiencing the tragedy of homicide.  Their mission is to reduce violent crime through prevention, education, and intervention, and to guide and support the families of victims.
