The Tenth Voice (LGBTQIA)
The Tenth Voice is the Kansas City area's only weekly broadcast created by and for LGBTQIA+ people in our community in the Greater Kansas City area and around the world online. Listeners can tune in each Saturday at 1:00 PM. Each week our team of hosts and producers present interviews, information, music, news and features especially important to Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals, Transgender & Nonbinary people, Queer, Intersex, Asexual & Aromantic people and Allied collective communities. Since 1989, The Tenth Voice radio show has documented and informed the LGBTQIA+ Kansas City Community.
Writers Lucy Jane Bledsoe and Miguel Morales join Philip Hooser and Elizabeth Andersen on this month’s radio book club. Lucy was the keynote speaker at the Golden Crown Literary Society’s annual convention this past July and will be on a book tour soon for Lava Falls, which is out later this month. And what better way to honor Hispanic Heritage Month than to talk about literary works and activism with Miguel Morales, a regular guest on our radio show.
