Panelists William Sterling Walker, Philip Hooser, and Elizabeth Andersen welcome author Christopher Bram on the show during LGBT Pride Month. Since 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the historic Stonewall uprising, it is appropriate to feature the author of Eminent Outlaws: The Gay Writers Who Changed America. Christopher Bram is the author of twelve books, including the novel that became the movie Gods and Monsters. His most recent books are Eminent Outlaws: The Gay Writers Who Changed America and The Art of History. He grew up in Virginia and now teaches at the Gallatin School of New York University. He was a 2001 Guggenheim fellow and winner of the Bill Whitehead Award for Lifetime Achievement.
