The remarkable true story of Ron Stallworth has been brought to the big screen by director Spike Lee and co-writer Kevin Willmott, who is professor of film at KU. John David Washington (“Ballers”) plays Stallworth, a black Colorado police officer who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan in the 1970s. Adam Driver (“Star Wars: The Last Jedi”) plays a Jewish police officer who posed as Stallworth in his face-to-face encounters with the Klan. Topher Grace (“That 70s Show”) plays Klan leader, David Duke.
