It is the third Saturday of the month and time again for Show People on The Tenth Voice. Join host Michael Grayman-Parkhurst as he welcomes Aaron S. Ricucci-Hill to the program.

Aaron S. Ricucci-Hill is local – they hail from Troy, MO, and are currently based out of Kansas City, MO. They finished their MM in Composition from the Conservatory of Music at UMKC this year, where their mentors included Paul Rudy, Chen Yi, and Yotam Haber.
Ricucci-Hill has a passion for fruitful collaborations and has worked with Don-Paul Kahl, Playground Ensemble, BrainFreeze productions, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, and Musica Nova. Recent honors include third place in the Abundant Silence Composition Competition (2017, Forest Rituals), a residency with Plaza Winds (2020, Colors of Pride), and an honorable mention for the resulting piece from the 2021 ASCAP Morton Gould competition.

Outside of composition, they sat on the Board of Directors for the Gateway Festival Orchestra of St. Louis for three seasons. In addition, Ricucci-Hill has served as Program Director for the No Divide Art Song Competition with No Divide KC.
