The Aluminum Paradox

Nadia Steinzor joins host Craig Lubow to discuss “The Aluminum Paradox”, a book written about the environmental hazards of manufacturing aluminum.  Aluminum Paradox also provides recommendations for alternatives and alternative methods of production.  Aluminum is a key component in solar panels, wind turbines, more efficient cars and planes and more.  Nadia is from the Environmental Integrity Project.

Of note to Missouri listeners–the Magnitude 7 Metals facility in Marston has had several water and air pollution violations since 2018.
