The Tenth Voice (LGBTQIA)
The Tenth Voice is the Kansas City area's only weekly broadcast created by and for LGBTQIA+ people in our community in the Greater Kansas City area and around the world online. Listeners can tune in each Saturday at 1:00 PM. Each week our team of hosts and producers present interviews, information, music, news and features especially important to Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals, Transgender & Nonbinary people, Queer, Intersex, Asexual & Aromantic people and Allied collective communities. Since 1989, The Tenth Voice radio show has documented and informed the LGBTQIA+ Kansas City Community.
Greetings Tenth Voice listeners. We are so excited to announce that over the next several weeks we will be introducing new hosts and new voices to the Tenth Voice family. Starting this week with the debut of The Middle Way with the Goddess Prince from the Land of the Rising Sun, Inoru Wade.
The Middle Way’s debut show will be an introduction to the host, and his vision of the show going forward. Inspired by non-western philosophical thinking and growing up in both the United States and Japan Inoru will deliver news and research findings on issues and affairs affecting the LGBTQIA community from an angle not typically seen in most media platforms. Austin Strassle, a Queer academic in Urban Planning and MG Salazar, a nonbinary community activist will join us to discuss how to create change in our community while operating in a world that was not built by Queer people or for Queer people.
