WHAT DOES “SERVING TIME” MEAN?

Jaws of Justice Radio strives to investigate how to achieve justice in America, and this includes issues of economic injustice, political injustice and the criminal justice system. We want to put a human face on those caught in the grasp of injustice in an unjust system. We strive to dispel the misconceptions created by the news and entertainment industry, politicians and our educational system.

For our show on January 8, 2024, host Macy Jones will speak with Pheob Haynes.  At the age of 15, Pheob was convicted of a crime for which he did 30 years in prison. Before that, his first 15 years of life was full of abuse, trauma and pain. While in prison, Pheob Haynes took every class that could help him be a better man and not afraid to look at his reflection in the mirror. Today, he is a representative of what he believes in and that is called Street Life. Street Life is a foundation that stands for Empathy, Compassion and a fresh start at life. Street Life believes there isn’t one of us who hasn’t experienced some type of abuse and neglect in our lives.  Now Street Life is going to be the voice for those that can’t be the voice for themselves.

Prison taught Pheob Haynes a lot about himself and life and now he is using his pain, his past and his hunger to teach and help those who are willing to be helped.

On Jaws of Justice, we examine how to find justice in our society.  Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.
