On Aug. 3, RadioActive Magazine host, Dave Mitchell, will interview Senator Jim Hendren of the Arkansas legislature, founder of Common Ground Arkansas, along with the Executive Director, Ms. Misty Orpin. Senator Hendren is a lifelong Republican from Arkansas, who has a 15 yr. history of serving in leadership positions in the Arkansas legislature. We will discuss Senator Hendren’s life changing decision to resign from the Republican Party, and found Common Ground Arkansas in 2021.
Common Ground Arkansas is a 501 c 4 nonprofit, which emphasizes supporting candidates who affirm the values of respect, honesty, acceptance of political difference, the value of compromise, public service focusing on legislation to address real issues and needs facing citizens of his state, and a rejection of demonization and us vs. them dynamics. Senator Hendren will describe the very strong response nationally to the founding of Common Ground Arkansas.
