KC Tenants Battle Covid and Evictions

Kansas City Tenants Board President Tiana Caldwell tells her story of how she became involved in the fight for housing justice when her family experienced homelessness for six months following an eviction and  her second cancer diagnosis.  The challenge of tenants rights and justice has increased immeasurably during the Covid 19 pandemic.  Ms Caldwell will discuss the efforts of KC Tenants to save lives during the ongoing Covid 19 health crisis.

Kansas City Tenants is an organization led by multi-generational, multi-racial, anti-racist base of poor and working class tenants in Kansas City . KC Tenants organizes to ensure that everyone in KC has a safe, accessible, and truly affordable home.
