Helping Young Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to Lead Fulfilling Lives

The Propel program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City

Lynn Marie Norris will interview people from Propel, a program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City that is designed to provide a post-secondary education experience for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Graduates from the two-year program are able to navigate the world and their lives feeling a sense of autonomy, belonging and purpose, and are much more likely to be competitively employed. Find out why this program is so sorely needed, and what makes it successful. Participating in the interview will be:
