Helping Young Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to Lead Fulfilling Lives

The Propel program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City

Lynn Marie Norris will interview people from Propel, a program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City that is designed to provide a post-secondary education experience for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Graduates from the two-year program are able to navigate the world and their lives feeling a sense of autonomy, belonging and purpose, and are much more likely to be competitively employed.
