The State of our Democracy

Authors Winston Apple and Larry Bradley join host Bob Grove to discuss the state of our democracy.  Against a background of pandemic, the 2020 election has seen record numbers of advance, mail-in and onsite voters challenged by new voter id laws, voter roll purges, and polling place closures.  Razor thin swing-state margins face recounts, legal challenges to mail-in votes and unproven accusations of voter fraud.  Changes to the 1965 Voter Rights Act, the 2020 U.S. Census, and state redistricting will effect voter rights for the next decade and beyond.
